News & Opinion: Justin Menkes Interview

By: Dylan Schleicher @ 5:52 PM – Filed under: Management & Workplace Culture

As a part of our Boss's Week activities, I interview Justin Menkes, author of Executive Intelligence. He says that people confuse knowledge with intelligence. Executive intelligence boils down to three things:
  1. Accomplishing Tasks
  2. Engaging Others
  3. Ability to Evaluate One's Own Decision

We talk about how the brain really isn't designed for executive intelligence and that behavior based interviewing only gets you part of the way there.
