News & Opinion: Not best, but the perfect book

By: Dylan Schleicher @ 7:39 PM – Filed under: Management & Workplace Culture

I think there are some books that you just read at the right time, you are open to the message and it has a profound impact on your thinking.

You Need To Be A Little Crazy by Barry Moltz is a good example for me. I was in the process of trying to determine if I should stay or go at the family business. One of the points he makes in the book is that sometimes businesses fail and you have no idea why. In my case, it is not that it was failing, but that I could not grow the business. I felt like I got permission to fail and could move on.

Is there a book like that for you?
