So much to think about, so little time. Of all the Prepared Mind skills people tell us they want to do but don't have time for, of all the Prepared Mind skills Prepared Mind leaders tell us they make time for, Reflecting rises to the top of the list.
I think the "no time" reason is overrated and is perhaps a proxy for something else.

When Bill and I first conceived of the Prepared Mind skills, we called this skill teaching. Feedback from executives steered us away from using the word "teaching," telling us it sounded too didactic, too one-way in helping others advance and develop their own Prepared Minds. So, we developed our thinking and observations along the lines of "enabling" others.
