News & Opinion: "Art of Innovation"

By: Dylan Schleicher @ 7:13 PM – Filed under: Innovation & Creativity

Yesterday, Guy Kawasaki, posted a video and slides of a speech he did at the UCLA based on his book The Art of the Start.
I didn't get a chance to see the video as there's not a soundcard in my computer here but the slides are interesting in and of themselves. One of my favorites was slide #28 -- point #11 that reads, "Don't let the bozos grind you down." The following slides give quotes of people who incorrectly predicted the future of various innovations -- something that's easy to do.
Another fun slide is the Dilbert Mission Statement Generator. Check out the Dilbert site to generate mission statements with great corporate words such as "synergistically". It's definitely entertaining.
