We recently gave reading where afterward we had an interesting conversation with our audience. The topic of employee accountability came up and it was voiced by more than one audience member that employees today had to face a simple and realistic fact that they had to be more customer oriented in how they view their employment relationship. That is, that the employee offers a service to their employer (customer). Your customer has the right to take its business elsewhere when and if it so chooses. To the employees out there, how do you feel about a customer service model of employee / employer relations? Employers, how do you feel about this?
