We're Hiring: Client Service Representative
We are hiring a new Client Service Representative to join our team here in Milwaukee. You should have excellent correspondence skills, both via email and phone. We are also looking for someone great with math, data entry, and research. Previous experience in customer service is a must! You should be organized, detail- and process-oriented, and enjoy solving problems that turn every customer experience into a great customer service experience. We'd love it even more if you have previously worked in a bookstore, a library, or somewhere in the publishing world. You can read the full job description here.
This position will work with our awesome Client Services team. When we say awesome, we mean the kind of awesome that makes you want to work here for a good long time. Meg and Roy, our two current reps, have each worked here for over twenty years, and are like peas and carrots. They know the ins and outs of our business better than anyone, and they are here to help you learn what we do as our company continues to grow. Here's the thing: we know most customer service jobs are scripted cubicle land hee-haw. Not here. Not this job. We want you to be you, and we trust that you'll do right by our clients and your co-workers as we all work together to help authors get their books to readers.
If you want to learn more about what fuels us, read our constitution here. And if you'd like to know more about the people you'd be spending your days with at our Walker's Point office, you can read all about us here.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, email your resume and cover letter to Sally Haldorson, General Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org (no phone calls please). Deadline is 3/6/2019. If you love books and helping people, we look forward to meeting you!
